Dr. Alexander Kozhanov received his MS and PhD in Physics from the Moscow State University. He was a postdoctoral scholar and later Assistant Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Starting from 2012, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Georgia State University. His research interests include spin dynamics in magnetic nano-structures, beyond-CMOS logic and memory applications, nano-fabrication and micro- and nano-structures analysis, THz emission and detection devices, nano-plasmonics and non-linear optics.
